Our latest debit cards come with a fresh design with a new contactless icon that allows for a seamless checkout experience using the “tap to pay” method. By holding your card near the payment terminal, you can quickly complete your purchase in seconds without swiping or inserting your card. This saves time and reduces the amount of contact you make throughout your day, making it a safer and more convenient payment option.

Here's What You Need to Know
- Make sure your contact information is up-to-date with us to ensure a smooth card re-issue
- Your new debit card will automatically be mailed to you, along with instructions on how to activate it
- After activating your new card, please safely dispose your old debit card by shredding it or by visiting Legacy Bank

Why is my debit card being reissued?

How will I receive my new card?
We’ll automatically mail you the new card so you can continue using your Legacy Bank account hassle-free.
Will my card information change with the new card?
Your new card will not have a new card number, but the expiration date and the security code will change.
Will my PIN number change with the new card?
Your PIN number will remain the same unless you specifically request a change. You can change your PIN at an ATM or contact our customer support for assistance.
How do I activate my new debit card?

How can I dispose of my old card securely?
To dispose of your old card securely, we recommend cutting it into multiple pieces, making sure to separate the chip and magnetic strip, before disposing of it in separate trash bags.
What happens if I accidentally throw away my card that came in the mail?
Visit your location, Legacy Bank, and we will reissue your card.
Can I opt out of receiving the new card and keep using my current one?
