Legacy Bank is pleased to announce the return of Dawn Byers as the new Assistant Vice President – Mortgage Loan Manager, taking over the position from Jan Wetta, who retired at the end of 2023 after 35+ years of dedicated service.

Dawn has a diverse real estate and mortgage lending background with over 30 years of experience. She served as a Licensed Real Estate Consultant with Coldwell Banker for five years and as a Title Examiner and Closing Officer at Title Midwest for three years. Dawn joined Legacy Bank in 2001 as an AVP in Mortgage Lending and made a significant contribution to the bank’s growth. In 2004, Dawn left Legacy to become a Mortgage Lending Specialist at Kanza Bank, where she worked for almost 20 years.
