Industry Experience: 15 Years

Steven F. Suellentrop, a fifth-generation banker, is the current President and CEO for Legacy Bank.  Steven has been with Legacy Bank since 2008 and worked in several capacities.  He has experience as a Retail Loan Officer and Branch Manager, head of Deposit Operations, Commercial Lender, and EVP in Administration.

Steven has gained a broad knowledge of banking and specifically Legacy Bank through education and experience including the Graduate School of Banking at Wisconsin, Madison, and the Kansas Bankers Association’s Bank Leaders of Kansas (BLOK) program.  Steven is involved in the community through several banking, civic and religious organizations.

Industry Experience: 30+ Years

With over three decades of industry experience and education in business and banking, Rex Reynolds serves as our executive vice president, where he oversees the commercial lending staff, consumer lenders, credit department, and loan operations department at Legacy Bank.

Rex is involved in many community events and activities, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Kansas Power Pool, spending 16 years as a City Council Member for the City of Mount Hope, serving on the Board of Directors for the Mount Hope Community Development, and coaching little league sports in the Mount Hope Area.

Rex is married with three adult children, a new son-in-law, and two dogs. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, shooting sporting clays, doing yard work, and being with my family and friends.

Industry Experience: 15+ Years

With more than fifteen years of experience in financial services and an education in business administration and finance, Grady Trumble serves as our Senior Vice President of Finance. He is responsible for regulatory compliance, audits, budgeting, reporting and portfolio investment management. In 2021, Grady completed the Kansas Bankers Association’s Bank Leaders of Kansas program as well as graduated summa cum laude from the Barrett Graduate School of Banking.

Grady is involved in the community through his church, schools,  and youth sports. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his wife and three young children.

Industry Experience: 20 years

With 20 years of industry experience and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Wichita State University, Jesse Nienke joined Legacy Bank in 2023 as our Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to working at Legacy Bank, Jesse managed software support and an implementation team at another local bank, where he gained extensive experience that has helped contribute to his current duties. In his role, he is responsible for managing deposit operations, information technology, and information security activities.

Outside of work, Jesse is an avid music fan, enjoys undertaking home improvement projects, and likes to travel with his family. He also loves to watch his kids swim for their school and club teams and serves as the treasurer for the Wichita Swim Club Board of Directors.

With over 20 years of industry experience and a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University, Jaclyn Dewey serves as our Vice President of Retail Services at Legacy Bank. Each day, she draws on her previous experience managing retail branches to oversee the business development of our various retail branches.

Outside of work, Jaclyn serves as a board member for the Pando Initiative and enjoys cheering on her children at their sporting events with her husband, Gavin Dewey.

Jerica Newby joined our team at Legacy Bank in April of 2024 with seven years of professional HR experience and a Bachelor’s Degree from Wichita State University. Prior to working at Legacy Bank, Jerica gained experience in public accounting and recruiting before working her way up to Vice President of Human Resources. In her current role, she is responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives, fostering innovation, and helping to build upon Legacy’s established culture of service and solutions. She is proud to play a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s people strategy to support our continued growth and success.

When she’s not at work, Jerica cherishes her time with her husband, daughter, and their dogs. She is also a passionate advocate for local organizations and businesses, particularly those in Wichita. You might find her at one of the city’s performing arts events, supporting local breweries, or enjoying a meal at a neighborhood restaurant.

With over 18 years of industry experience, Cathy White serves as our Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, where she is responsible for human resource management, benefits, recruitment, training, and leadership. As part of the Strategic Management Team, she works collaboratively to discover the best strategies and solutions for our employees and customers.

Outside of work, Cathy is involved in her church and also volunteers with a local Cub Scout and Boy Scout troop with her grandsons.

Industry Experience: 6 years

Abby Parker joined Legacy Bank in 2023 with six years of industry experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Friends University. Prior to joining our team, she gained great experience as a Director of Marketing at JP Weigand and Sons, Inc. In her current role, she is responsible for the planning, management, and execution of marketing initiatives and the day-to-day marketing functions of the financial institution. She also develops and implements a marketing strategy that is in alignment with the overall bank’s strategic objectives with customers and identified target segments.

Outside of work, she serves on the communication team for Family Promise of Greater Wichita, and in her free time, she likes to stay very active in the gym, explore new places around Wichita, and is always looking to try something new!

Frank A. Suellentrop began his employment at the bank on May 30, 1973 and later succeeded his father, Clem Suellentrop, as president in 1991. Frank served as Legacy Bank’s President and CEO from 1991 – 2018. He now serves as Chairman of the Board.

Industry Experience: 39+ Years

With nearly four decades of experience in the banking industry and educations in both business and banking, Brad Yaeger served as Legacy Bank’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from 2019 – 2021. He now serves as Vice Chairman of the Board.

Over the years, Brad has been involved in many community events and activities, including Wichita Riverfest, Wichita Wagonmasters, Wichita Area Builders Association, Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce, Catholic Church Committees and youth sports programs. He currently serves on the Guadalupe Clinic Finance Committee and is on the Board of Trustees for Newman University. He is also actively involved with the Community Bankers Association of Kansas, Kansas Bankers Association and Independent Community Bankers.

Brad is married with three children and five grandchildren. He enjoys golfing, boating and traveling.
