Legacy Bank is excited to announce plans for its 10th branch, set to open in the second quarter of 2025. Located at the southeast corner of 29th Street and Maize Road, this new branch will further expand Legacy Bank’s presence in one of the fastest-growing areas of the city.

“We’re thrilled to bring a new branch to west Wichita,” said Steven Suellentrop, President and CEO of Legacy Bank. “The traffic and continued growth in this area, particularly around Maize, NewMarket Square, and Cadillac Lake, make it an ideal location for us.”

The new branch will be situated between QuikTrip and Dutch Bros within the Cadillac Lake development. This strategic location will serve the increasing number of new restaurants, businesses, and housing developments in the vicinity, enhancing convenience for our current customers and attracting new ones.

“We’ve canvassed the west side of town well, but this new branch will strengthen our footprint even further,” Suellentrop added. “We’re committed to supporting the growth and development in this vibrant area.”

Legacy Bank partnered with Krehbiel Architecture for the design of the 3,400 square-foot building and is set to break ground by the end of the summer.

The new branch aims to add convenience for existing customers and foster growth by hiring four new employees and shifting some current staff to the new location.
