FRAUD NOTIFICATION

ATTENTION: SCAMS CURRENTLY IMPACTING LEGACY BANK CUSTOMERS

We want to make you aware of an active fraud campaign currently targeting Legacy Bank customers.

We have received reports of individuals calling customers while falsely claiming to represent Legacy Bank. The caller states there is an ACH transaction that needs to be verified and may specifically reference a payment to SKS Properties LLC. The scammer then attempts to obtain sensitive information from the customer. In some cases, customers have also received text messages containing links to websites designed to resemble Legacy Bank’s website.

What You Should Know

  • Legacy Bank will never ask you to provide usernames, passwords, PINs, or other sensitive banking credentials through an unsolicited phone call or text message.
  • If you receive a suspicious call or text claiming to be from Legacy Bank, hang up immediately and contact us directly using a trusted phone number.
  • Do not click links contained in unexpected text messages or emails.
  • If you provided information to the caller or clicked a suspicious link, please notify Legacy Bank immediately.

If You Receive One of These Calls

Please document as much information as possible, including:

  • The phone number used by the caller
  • The date and time of the contact
  • Any voicemail, text message, screenshots, or links received
  • Whether any information was disclosed

If you have any concerns about a call, text, email, or ACH transaction request, please contact our Treasury Management team or your Legacy Bank representative directly.

Thank you for your continued partnership and vigilance.
