FRAUD NOTIFICATION

ATTENTION: SCAMS CURRENTLY IMPACTING LEGACY BANK CUSTOMERS

We have been notified that someone is calling and presenting themselves as Legacy Bank and we would like for you to be on alert.

If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from our financial institution stating you have fraudulent transactions on your debit card and they would like to verify your security questions so they can send you a replacement card, even if the caller ID appears legitimate, we recommend you hang up immediately and call us back at our listed phone number to verify. Legacy Bank WILL NOT contact you and ask you for your security questions.

Our practice is to notify our customers to verify transactions and we will ask for you to come to a local branch to obtain a new card if we feel that fraud has taken place. If you call us because you have received a text alert or an automated phone call, we may ask you some other identifying information outside of your security questions to ensure that we are talking to the correct person. This is for your protection and the bank.

If you feel that you have received a call that does not seem right or that is similar to the situation shared above, please contact us at 316.260.3711 to verify the legitimacy of the call or text.

Legacy Bank will never call you and ask for your information, electronic banking credentials, debit card numbers, PIN numbers, or any personal identification information or personal banking account information. We already have this information! If we do need to call you and ask you some information, we will also encourage you to hang up and call us back at our listed phone number if you feel uncertain. We will not make threats or badger you to answer any questions.

Please help fight fraud by not giving out your personal information if someone calls you and by reporting any suspicious transactions or activity on your account!

Thank you for your attention in this matter!
