As we approach the close of another successful year, our team at Legacy Bank would like to reflect on all the accomplishments we’ve achieved in 2024. This year has been one of growth, innovation, and a continued commitment to our communities, and we are incredibly grateful to continue offering our customers the highest quality products, services, and solutions. Now, let’s take a look at the highlight reel!

 

A Year of Growth

2024 has been a big year for us here at Legacy Bank! We’ve seen significant growth in both our team and the services we provide. With a renewed focus on building efficiencies and supporting growth, we’ve welcomed over a dozen new team members, bringing our total to nearly 120 employees. These new faces have injected fresh ideas and energy into our work, and we’re excited to continue expanding our impact across Wichita and beyond.

 

Expanding Our Reach

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of a new Legacy Bank branch at the intersection of 29th Street North and Maize Road (2880 North Maize Road)! This new location is expected to open in the summer of 2025 and will bring our signature community-centered approach to one of Wichita’s fastest-growing areas. In addition to expanding our footprint, we’re proud to be an active part of the residential real estate development in the area, supporting the growth of thriving communities through our lending services. Improving Customer Experience

At Legacy Bank, we’re always striving to make our banking experience easier, more convenient, and more secure, and this year, we took some exciting steps forward in how we serve our customers. 

  • We rolled out LegacyLive, a brand-new instant chat feature that lets us connect with customers online more efficiently than ever before. Not to mention, we gave our debit cards a modern makeover! The new design includes tap-to-pay features, making transactions quicker and more convenient.
  • On the tech side, we’ve made online banking more user-friendly by eliminating the six-month password reset requirement. Instead, we’re focusing on two-factor authentication to enhance security without the hassle. We’ve also rolled out Card Control, a tool that lets customers easily track transactions and set up security alerts. Looking ahead, we’re working to integrate all these features—including card limits, transaction alerts, and controls—directly into our mobile app, so everything you need is right at your fingertips!
  • One of the initiatives we’re most excited about is Goalsetter, a financial literacy app designed to empower the next generation of savers. This fun, interactive tool helps kids and teens learn money management skills by offering tips, tools, and challenges to build smart financial habits. It also gives parents new ways to support their children in establishing a solid financial foundation early on. Goalsetter is coming soon—stay tuned for updates!

 

Protecting Customer Security

We take the safety of your personal and financial information very seriously. In 2024, we’ve continued to prioritize protecting our customers from fraud and scams and have rolled out educational efforts through emails, social media alerts, and articles highlighting how to recognize and prepare for potential scams. To further safeguard your accounts, we’ve also invested in internal training sessions, enhanced verification processes, call-backs, and additional security questions—aiming to provide extra protection without complicating your experience. Together, we’re building a stronger, safer banking experience.
