Enroll in Text Messages

Learn how to enroll in text messages for two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Online Banking and text message alerts.

Step 1

Log In

Start by logging into your Legacy Bank Online Banking.

Step 2

Contact Information

Once you’re logged in, click on your name in the top right corner of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select Contact Information to access your details.

Step 3

Verify Your Phone Number

Scroll down to the Phone Numbers section. Please make sure you have your Day Phone number filled in (this is required) and that your Mobile Phone number is correct. The Mobile Phone number should be one that can receive text messages.

Step 4

Services and Settings

Once you verify your phone number, at the top of your screen, click on Services and Settings. From there, select Security Code Delivery from the dropdown under the Security Settings section.

Step 5

Choose Your Delivery Preference

You’ll see a popup that allows you to choose how you want to receive security codes. To receive these codes via text, click on “Enroll this number for text alerts.” You’ll need to accept a brief disclosure and complete the two-factor authentication (2FA) process once to verify your number.

Step 6

Finalize Your Enrollment

Once you’ve completed the enrollment, click Done. You can return to Services and Settings > Security Code Delivery to confirm that your phone number is successfully enrolled. You may need to sign out and sign back in to make these changes.
